I was, once, confronted by a 50 year-old woman who wanted to tell the story of her sexual development, honestly, and in full. It involved a sexual relationship with her uncle (which she claims she initiated), that began at a very young age. It was an amazing, life-long relationship that lasted until his death, actually, and I think there would have been great value in the telling. Unfortunately, those types of stories attract a certain type of reader. That type tends to get sites shut down.

Of course, I told her she couldn't publish it, here (the previous version). She was furious, because there are no safe spaces on the internet for people to state their truth. She had been an active contributor, and it was a major loss, to the forum, when she stopped posting. She was a HIGHLY sexual woman who was an active swinger and quite the exhibitionist.

That's a tough one. Because of her, I currently allow those stories, only if they are true, and autobiographical as long as I have the right to omit the age if it is deemed not integral to the story, if necessary.

While my first act of coitus was as an adult (gotta love church kids), a whole lot happened FAR before that time, at VERY early ages. One's personal sexual journey and the manner in which it was experienced, plays a vital role in a person's sexual development and the way he/she experiences pleasure.


For the record, she was eleven. I just couldn't allow her to say she initiated the relationship, at that age. It was a GREAT story, though, . . . and the age would have been relevant, in that situation.

While there are some bad hacks on it (I hope that doesn't include me), I've been impressed by the number of talented and imaginative writers inhabit that corner of the Internet, and the support they offer other writers.
